Splurge of the Week: Givenchy Panther Skirt

Givenchy's Fall 2011 Runway Show was exceptional!  Perhaps the most buzzed about prints of the season were Givenchy's exotic panther designs.  After seeing this Panther Skirt on the runway and in nearly every fashion magazine, the skirt, which is in stores now, was even better in person.  The detail in the design is so beautifully done, and we love how the yellow pops out from the black background. It's certainly a fresh way to wear animal print this fall.

Rock Candy: Tom Binns Drop Earrings

Tom Binns has been designing unique jewelry for over 25 years.  We love his interesting use of materials and colors creating beautiful, artistic and edgy pieces.  In particular, we are obsessed with his colorful drop earrings!  They are the perfect way to add color and excitement to a dull simple outfit.  Much like our blog, which has featured quite a few all-black pieces lately, we tend to find ourselves wearing black from head to toe.  Bright bold jewelry is a great way to liven up a dark ensemble, and these candy-colored drop earrings are the perfect choice!
